For Callie’s second Christmas, I built a sled. I copied the design from a photo on the LLBean site. I used 1/4″ oak boards bought at Home Depot, glued and screwed. I didn’t have a steaming box, so I soaked the runners in the tub and bent them around a jig I made. I didn’t get quite the curve that I wanted (It’s a little more gradual than I think it should be), but otherwise it turned out OK.
